In the Fall of 2024 Village Swingers is joining forces with Gerrymanders to offer the only square dance lessons currently being held in Montgomery County.
Our FREE open house is on Wednesday September 4th at 7 PM. The classes will run through December 2024.

Details about the Fall 2024 Wednesday Night Lessons
The initial lessons will teach you a subset of the MAINSTREAM square dance calls known as SSD.
The last few lessons will complete the MAINSTREAM calls.
Lessons will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
There will be a total of 14 sessions including the open house.
No lesson will be held on November 27th.
There is no cost for the open house on September 4th.
The instructional fee is $60.00 for the first six lessons. The remaining seven lessons will cost $70.00.
The fees are payable at lesson #1 on Sept 11th, lesson #7 on October 23rd..
If you pay for the first six lessons at the open house the first fee will be $55.00.
Students are welcome to stay and watch the experienced dancers from 8:30 to 10:00 PM.
Additional details for "angels" about Wednesday Nights this Fall
The lessons are from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Your volunteer efforts will be appreciated.
A normal dance will follow from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
The 8:30 PM dance will be called at MAINSTREAM or PLUS depending on the skill level of those present.
There will be a fee for the angels who chose to stay and dance after 8:30 PM.
